Help - Windows 7 64bit VS 2010

Hi,

I'm was using your code in vs2010 for scanning documents till recently. Now we have upgraded our OS to Win 7 64bit and now it is not working. Let me explain.

When I attach the scanner (Visioneer 500) the code detects it and all. I click Scan. The page goes through the scanner. However the call

rc = DllImports.twain_32.ImageTransfer(twain.MsgPump.pOrigin, _
                                              twain.MsgPump.pDest, _
                                              Enumerations.DataGroup.Image, _
                                              Enumerations.DataArgumentTypes.ImageNativeXfer, _
                                              Enumerations.Message.Get, _
                                              hbitmap)
(twImageNativeXFer.vb) returns failure and no image is captured.

I'm not sure what I'm missing. The project is told to build in x86 environment in the IDE.
I've been at this for 2 days now and of no use.

Would you please point me in the right direction or any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Never mind. Must have been sleeping. I was accessing the wrong driver - WIA instead of the TWAIN version of the scanner. Thanks.

i have the same problem.  stare at an error. debug the error. stare the error some more, lather, rinse repeat.  break down and report the condition and 82% of the time i figure out that i've been extra dumb for the better part of a week within a half hour.
